Lambert Jackson Productions and The Theatre Café today announce the return of Leave a Light On, the online concert series. 70 performances from across the two series will be re-streamed, featuring Zoe Birkett, Jordan Luke Gage, David Hunter, Cassidy Janson, Lucie Jones, Beverley Knight and Layton Williams among many others. Leave a Light On, was launched in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and consequent national lockdowns. It presented a variety of performances livestreamed from artists’ homes, to provide income for performers who found themselves without work, supporting almost 80 artists across its two series, as well as offering entertainment to audiences unable to access live shows.

Jamie Lambert and Eliza Jackson said today, “Leave a Light On was born out of the pandemic and the industry’s closure – we wanted to provide artists with the opportunity for paid work, and were thrilled we were able to support almost 80 performers across the two series. We’re incredibly proud of both series and the sheer quality of these at-home concerts, so are delighted to be able to share many of these performances with audiences again!”

Lambert Jackson Productions is a production company dedicated to producing musical theatre shows and stunning performances. Founded by Jamie Lambert (CEO) and Eliza Jackson (Creative Director), the company made its debut at Cadogan Hall in August 2018 with There’s Nothin’ Like a Dame – 100 Years of Women in Musical Theatre, and has since received two Broadway World Award nominations. Their various productions have received critical acclaim, including Main Men of Musicals, West End Women, Love at the Musicals, multiple Favourites series at The Other Palace, The Throwaways, Ramin Karimloo and The Broadgrass Band, and Doctor Zhivago. Over the last ten months, Lambert Jackson created the UK’s biggest online concert series, Leave a Light On, designed to provide income for actors during the Covid-19 lockdown, as well as leading the way with their virtual productions of musicals The Last Five Years, First Date, [title of show], I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and Songs For A New World – the latter of which became the first musical to return to the West End, with performances at the London Palladium in late 2020. As theatres remain closed, Lambert Jackson continue to contribute new, innovative virtual theatre to keep audiences entertained and members of the theatrical industry employed.
