DREAM CASTING: Six on Broadway!

What makes this cast so special in the West End is that we have a cast of fresh faces that really make you realise how much undiscovered talent we have around. But we couldn't help our minds get creative and wonder who we'd absolutely adore to see in the Broadway cast of the show! We do however love how they've cast it in the UK so we would love the same to happen across the Atlantic, but heres our dream!

Catherine of Aragon | Shoshana Bean

Most famed for her portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway, having replaced original cast member and Tony Award winner Idina Menzel. She returns to Broadway to play the role of Jenna in Waitress and we think she'd be epic in this show and as this role!

Anne Boleyn | Denée Benton

Seen in her Tony nominated interpretation of Natasha Rostova in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and currently as Eliza in the Broadway production of Hamilton. We think she'd be a great Anne Boleyn!

Jane Seymour | Marisha Wallace

After being flown over from New York to cover the role of Effie White in the London production of Dreamgirls before taking over the lead role, she is now originating the role of Becky in the London production of Waitress. We think her 'Heart of Stone' would sound stunning.

Anna of Cleves | Cynthia Erivo

A home grown talent, last seen on Broadway in the Colour Purple. She is making her mark in America on the TV and movie screens but could we tempt her back to the theatre with this role?

Katherine Howard | Laura Osnes

Last seen on Broadway in Bandstand, she is known for her more classical roles but her Sandy in Grease and Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde were incredible and we think she'd be perfect for this role. Bring her back to the White Way!

Catherine Parr | Lindsay Mendez

Mendez is best known for her portrayal of Elphaba in the 10th anniversary of Wicked and her Tony Award winning performance as Carrie in the Broadway revival of Carousel. She'd bring the right energy to the role and we'd absolutely love to see this!
