One of the more recent productions on the list, Mark Swale seemed to be very impressed by this production. The show, which started at the Southwark Playhouse, went on to play to sold out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe before transferring to London's West End.
"This is a fun show and one that is needed in London at the moment. Its an alternative to The Book of Mormon and a quarter of the price. This is on our must see list so make sure you head down down to the Arts Theatre and see this whilst its around!"
The only fringe musical on the list, Salad Days played at the Union Theatre in 2017 and its success was incredible. James-Lee Campbell, one of our favourite reviewers, loved this show and we can totally see why!

If you read our Top 10 Worst Shows we've seen, you'll notice a lot of those featured there played on tour and at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking. However, it occasionally redeems itself! Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a fabulous family show and its so great to see it done well and now featured on this list!

The London Musical Theatre Orchestra are a favourite with us here at Pocket Size Theatre. We have been loving what they do and our reviewer, Harriet Langdown, especially loved this one!
"Mack and Mabel was a truly delicious evening with Natasha J Barnes as the all important cherry on-top. Tapner absolutely nailed his direction for the score (yet again) and I cannot wait until the next concert evening and see what LMTO next to surprise."
We are impartial to a little bit of drag here at Pocket Size Theatre, and James-Lee Campbell break down in this review provided us with a lot of laughs! Something slightly different on the list, Ian Stroughair (Other wise known as Velma Celli) provided an evening of pure delight and we're very happy this is featured on our list.

Probably the most recent show on the list, this National Theatre transfer has had audiences astounded with the incredible performances. The transfer, playing at the Harold Pinter Theatre, was reviewed by Nick Wayne and we are so happy it lived up to the hype.
"This is sure to collect awards but more importantly deserves wider exposure as its message is strong 25 years after the events it depicts and offers hope in turbulent global times that peace can be found even amongst the most violently opposed groups."
We're going back a few years now! Harriet Langdown's first every review with us was this one, and we're glad it started off well! This special play was a must see when it was on it London and ever since it left there has been a huge hole that no production has filled since.
"I cannot implore you enough to go and see this remarkable piece of theatre... it was truly spectacular. Trust me when I say that this is a play not to be missed. It is sensational."
We teamed up with Today Tix to see this fantastic show and when Mark Swale went along he had a glorious time. This special musical was astounding and we are so glad Mark enjoyed it as much as us.

Andy Edmeads may provide slightly harsher reviews but we all secretly love reading them! However when we sent him to review Priscilla, we we're thrilled when we got this review back. This is one of our personal favourites so we are so glad he enjoyed it as much as us!

Another play on the list and another one from Nick Wayne; this is from The Kite Runners second West End run and clearly it deserved it!
"This is a play that deserves a second West End run, wider exposure and understanding and should be a set text for all schools to bring understanding of the human stories of refugees and the context of the countries they leave."
