SIDE SHOW will transfer to Broadway

The reimagined production of the 1997 Tony-nominated musical Side Show, which was seen at La Jolla Playhouse and, more recently, at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, will arrive on Broadway Oct. 28 at the St. James Theatre, currently the home of Woody Allen's Bullets Over Broadway.

Directed by Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Bill Condon, who will be making his Broadway directorial debut, the musical will officially open Nov. 17. Tickets will go on sale Aug. 13 at SideShowBroadway.com.

Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, who starred in both the La Jolla and Kennedy Center engagements, will reprise their leading roles as conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton.
