Laura Baldwin & Stanton Wright announce new streamed concert THE PLATFORM

A new concert, titled “The Platform”, will stream online later this month.

The event is aiming to create a place where professionals from all parts of the industry can showcase their work and feel seen, heard and valued. With theatres currently closed, this first showcase will feature performances filmed by the artists themselves, in their own setting, and unified into one 70min long show.

With diversity and inclusivity at its core, The Platform is for everyone. Any age, colour, shape, size...everyone! It’s hoping to help create/continue the conversation for positive change.

With the feeling of a variety show, it intends to feature actors, dancers, musicians, singers, poets, drag queens, new writing and an ever-growing list of creatives. For its first performance, the line-up boasts a wonderful medley of talent, ranging from Drag Queens to recent graduates.

The event features a company of 17 artists, featuring Laura Baldwin, Edward Bullingham, Onyemachi Ejimofor, Anya Ferdinand, Remi Ferdinand, Ghost Light (Adam Gillian & Ghost Light Ensemble), Chloë Hart, Miss Jacqui, Stephen Leask, Lovelle (Joshua Lovell), Leah St Luce, Christina Modestou, Clare Perkins, Samuel Routley, Harry Sheasby, Stanton Wright.

The show will be streamed on 24th & 25th of April from 7.30pm, with tickets on sale now.

The Platform is produced by founders Laura Baldwin & Stanton Wright.
