Britannia High was the British answer to High School Musical, Fame and Glee! Whilst some may not have even heard of this TV, for some of us it was a huge thing in our younger years. The TV show only lasted one series but the stars of the TV show have gone onto some wonderful careers, as part of our 'Where are they Now' series, we look at where the young cast of Britannia high are today! Thomas played Jez, whose actual name is Jeremy but he chooses the nickname to sound 'cooler' and to hide his rich background. After appearing in the show Matthew went on to appear in Midsummer Murders and also was featured in a musical adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray at the Leicester Square Theatre. He then moved over to America where he got cast in Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark as the alternate to Reeve Carney, they both played the lead role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He then went on to play the title role in the Broadway revival of Pippin on Broadway. He played Fenwick in the musical adaption of Diner and played Riff in the Hollywood Bowl production of West Side Story.

Hagen played Lauren, the character who was discovered singing in an ABBA tribute band at a wedding. Georgia had a successful career in the arts as a child appearing in Annie at the Victoria Palace, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium, playing Rebecca in Tracey Beaker and the voice of Control in Starlight Express. After the TV series she went onto play Meat in the touring production of We Will Rock You before appearing in Starlight Express in the Bochum production of the show. She played Dinah for a year in the show before taking over the lead role of Pearl, a role she played for 3 years before reprising her role in the 30th-anniversary production. Her other theatre credits since Britannia High include Shelley Parker in Bat Boy (Southwark Playhouse), Ashley in Like Me (Waterloo East Theatre), Judy - The Songbook of Judy Garland (UK Tour), Nancy in Groundhog Day (Old Vic Theatre) and The Sound of Music (UK Tour).

Ward played BB, who lost his parents aged 14 and has been living with his brother who has no interest in his desires to perform. Since the television show he has gone onto appear on TV in shows like Coronation Street, Doctors, Tati's Hotel, Pat & Cabbage and Banana. In Theatre, he made his West End debut in the London Palladium revival of Cats, as Rum Tum Tugger, a role he then went on to reprise in the UK and European tour. His other theatre credits include The Forest of Forgotten Discos (Contact Theatre, Manchester), Title role in Aladdin (Dukes Theatre, Lancaster), One Love: The Bob Marley Musical (Birmingham Rep Theatre), Daddy Cool (Mallorca and UK Tour), Saturday Night Fever (English Theatre, Frankfurt), The Waterbabies (Curve Theatre, Leicester), Manchester Lines (Library Theatre, Manchester) and The Spalding Suite (National Tour).

Roy played Lola, the ditzy girl who always seems to be the butt of the jokes. Since appearing on Britannia High, she has gone on to appear in numerous TV series, including The Michael J Fox Show, Black Box, Lauren in Mary + Jane, Vimla in Switched at Birth, Devi in Underground, Dr Amira Anawi in The Night Shift, Pippa in Life Sentance, Katalina in Indoor Boys, Mary Clark in Queen America, Farah in American Princess, Yasmina in Ramy and Aliya in Social Distance. She made her Broadway debut as Stephanie Rahn in INK at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in 2019.

Hewer played Danny, the character who always seemed to have some sort of romantic storyline going on. Grabbing our attention on the E4 show Skins before his appearance on Britannia High, he went onto appear in Casualty playing Mickey Ellisson and was featured playing Steven in Behaving Badly and Ben in Nightlight on film. On stage, he appeared as Dirty Harry in the Take That Jukebox musical, Never Forget on tour around the UK. He has appeared in numerous Pantomimes, including the title role in Aladdin, Prince Florizel in Snow White, the title role in Robin Hood, Prince Charming in Cinderella and will play the title role this Christmas in Jack and the Beanstalk, all at the Cresset in Peterborough.

Elia played Claudine, perhaps the Villain of the show but we quickly see what is underneath her hard outer shell. Having enjoyed a healthy performing career before appearing on the show with appearances on television and in the West End production of Les Miserables as a child, she went on to play Mia Macey in Emmerdale through 2010 - 2011, Amber in Black Forrest (TV Movie), Karolina in Undercover Hooligan (Film) and Rose in Vengeance. In Theatre, she went on to play Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Ernest and Dorthy in The Wizard of Oz, both on tour. In pantomime, she played the title role in Snow White (Richmond, Ipswich & Sevenoaks), Princess Jasmine in Aladdin (Maidstone & Poole), title role in Sleeping Beauty (Reading), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Leeds) and most recently the title role in Cinderella (Redditch). She currently works as the co-founder and project manager for her business 'Alterniq Inspired Growth'.
