Full Cast Announced for MISS SAIGON revival


MISS SAIGON makes its highly anticipated return to the West End on Saturday 3 May 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical’s 25th Anniversary Year and is currently booking for performances through to Saturday 25th October 2014. The cast includes Jon Jon Briones as ‘The Engineer’, Eva Noblezada as ‘Kim’, Alistair Brammer as ‘Chris’, Tamsin Carroll as ‘Ellen’, Hugh Maynard as ‘John’ and Rachelle Ann Go as ‘Gigi’. 


JON JON BRIONES was in the ensemble in the original cast of “Miss Saigon” when the show opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. He has since played the role of ‘The Engineer’ in his native Philippines, London, on tour in both the UK and US and also in Germany. 




Seventeen year old EVA NOBLEZADA will make her professional stage debut as ‘Kim’. 


ALISTAIR BRAMMER made his professional stage debut as ‘Marius’ in the West End production of “Les Misérables” at the Queen’s Theatre having previously appeared in a special finale of the show for the show’s 20th birthday where he played the same role as part of the Schools’ Edition cast. Following his appearance in the West End, Alistair was cast as ‘Jean Prouvaire’ in the smash hit film of “Les Misérables”, a role he also played in the 25th Anniversary of the show at the O2. He can currently be seen as ‘Billy’ in the West End production of “War Horse”.

TAMSIN CARROLL was recently seen as ‘Chairy Barnum’ in “Barnum” at Chichester Festival Theatre. She was last seen in the West End as ‘Nancy’ in “Oliver!”, a role she also played in her native Australia, for which she was awarded the prestigious Helpmann Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Also in Australia, Tamsin received critical acclaim for her stunning performance as the title role in “Dusty” where she won both the Green Room and Helpmann awards for Best Actress in a Musical. Her other UK theatre credits include “The Magistrate” at the National Theatre, ‘Emma Goldman’ in “Ragtime” and ‘Titania’ in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, both for the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park. 


HUGH MAYNARD played the role of ‘John’ in the first and second national UK tours of “Miss Saigon”. He was most recently seen in the tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Jesus Christ Superstar”. His West End credits include “Sister Act” and the original cast of “The Lion King”. 


RACHELLE ANN GO is a well-known TV star in the Philippines having won their “Search for a Star” contest and is a double-platinum recording artist.


The ensemble includes; Julia Abueva, Natalie Chua, Jon-Scott Clark, Rob Compton , Callum Francis, Ashley Gilmour, Maria Graciano, Simon Hardwick, Jack Harrison-Cooper, Matthew Jeans, Kurt Kansley, Kittiphun Kittipakapom, David Lee, Mitch Leow, Ela Lisondra, Tanya Manalang, Christian Rey Marbella, Kanako Nakano, Thao Therese Nguyen, Saori Oda, Ariel Reonal, Jon Reynolds, Romeo Salazar, Jordan Shaw, Marsha Songcome, Eloisa Amalia Tan, Christian Tanamal, Thao Vilayvong, Amadeus Williams and Gerald Zarcilla. 


MISS SAIGON has Music by Claude-Michel Schönberg with Lyrics by Richard Maltby Jnr and Alain Boublil, adapted from Original French Lyrics by Alain Boublil with Additional Lyrics by Michael Malher. This new production will be directed by Laurence Connor with Musical Staging by Bob Avian and Additional Choreography by Geoffrey Garratt, Production Design by Totie Driver and Matt Kinley based on an Original Concept by Adrian Vaux, Costume Design by Andreane Neofitou, Lighting Design by Bruno Poet, Sound Design by Mick Potter and Orchestrations by William David Brohn. Musical Supervision is by Stephen Brooker and John Rigby. Musical Direction is by Alfonso Casado Trigo.
